Lobby Services Temporarily Suspended

To Our Members,

Rapidly changing COVID conditions require the need to again determine the best course of action to safely provide services to our members while also keeping our employees and their families safe and healthy.   Effective, Tuesday, November 17, 2020, lobby services in our Cedar Rapids offices will be temporarily suspended. At the present time, our Spencer office will remain open for regular business hours. 

Services that cannot be provided through the drive-up ETMs will continue to be available by appointment.  Such services include certificates, loan applications, closings, etc.  Please call our Contact Center at 319.743.7806 to make an appointment. 

Our drive-up Express Teller Machines in Cedar Rapids will be open during the following hours:

               7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.         Monday – Friday

               9:00 a.m. – Noon                Saturday

My hope is this will be temporary and we can return to our normal operations soon.  Additional information and updates can be found at FirstFedCU.com/coronavirus for additional information.

How will I access my money?

  • Our call center can assist you in transferring money between First Federal accounts
  • Online banking supports balance inquiries, balance transfers, and online bill payment capabilities
  • Over 30,000 FREE ATMs are available nationwide, plus any ATM surcharge when you use your First Federal debit card will be reimbursed
  • Mobile deposit allows for making deposits from the convenience of your phone
  • Express Pay allows you to transfer money from/to your First Federal account from/to another financial institution
  • Card Valet and Text Alerts gives you up-to-date transaction information throughout the day
  • TextCU and ChatCU are ways you can communicate with us from your home or mobile device

  What if I need help from a real person?

  • Our ETM operators will be prepared to provide assistance
  • Our call-center will be staffed to assist with any issues by calling or texting (319)743-7806 during regular business hours.
  • Our Personal Bankers are available by appointment for certificate renewals, new accounts, loan closings, etc.  Call our Contact Center at 319.743.7806 to make an appointment.
