How it Works Payments that are sent electronically will be deducted from your account on the specified Send Date and are expected to be posted by the payee within two – five business days. You will know a payment is being sent electronically by the little electronic symbol in the left column next to the payee name.

Payments that are sent by check will be processed (mailed) on the specified Send Date and are expected to arrive at the payee five business days later. Because the mailing time for paper checks varies, it is recommended to have the appropriate funds available in your account on the Send Date.
