KEEP YOUR COVERAGE
Opt in for NO changes to your checking account!

Dear Member

Due to new Federal Regulation E overdraft rules, First Federal Credit Union is here to inform you of changes that are coming to your checking account. Overdrafts to your checking account are always an uncomfortable situation, but are a part of everyday life. Unexpected emergencies and expenses can happen at any time and First Federal understands this.

We are deeply committed to ensuring your finances are managed in a way that benefits you and that when you need funds they will be available to you. We never want you in the middle of an embarrassing situation when it comes to your debit card and the amount of money in your account. With this in mind, we want to talk with you about our overdraft coverage and the action we encourage you to take.

Overdraft coverage means we may authorize a transaction for you, even though we are aware you do not have enough funds in your account to cover it.

Soon this coverage will not be available to you, unless we hear from you! If you do not take action, we will no longer authorize transactions unless your balance indicates there are sufficient funds available in your account.

To keep your checking working as it currently does, we need your response no later than August 15, 2010. Please call 319-362-3171 or 319-743-7806 or fill out the form below.

Please fill out the information below to have one of our representatives contact you to confirm your request to opt in for overdraft protection, keeping your account as it is currently.
