Credit/Debit Card Conversion FAQ’s
What is a Credit/Debit Card Conversion? In January 2012, we will be converting our Credit and Debit card programs processes and cards to a new processor. This means that we will be issuing new cards to all credit/debit cardholders in January of 2012 regardless of expiration date. Below you will find Key Dates, New Benefits, and Helpful information on what this means to you.
Important dates associated with your new cards:
- Between January 1st and 9th, 2012, your new cards will be mailed. Please allow no more than 7 business days for delivery.
- Your Debit Card will be valid for activation and use on January 16th, 2012, so continue to use your existing card until that time.
- Your Credit Card will be valid for activation and use on January 23rd, 2012, so continue to use your existing card until that time.
- January 15th will be that last day to use your existing Debit Card.
- January 22nd will be the last day to use your existing Credit Card.
- On January 16th and/or January 23rd please activate your card by following the instructions included with the new card.
- On the day of activation, your existing card will no longer work and should be destroyed.
Your new Visa or MasterCard Debit and/or Credit card will come with a new design and have a few more benefits.
- 24/7 Card Services. Have any issues or questions on your debit or credit card, contact the number on the back of your card and get a person that can help.
- Card replacement time is cut in half in most cases.
- Credit Card Holders will have easy online access at our website and e-statements available.
- Debit Card Holders will have more flexible daily limits on signature based transactions. No more declines when an outstanding transaction has not posted to your account.
- Debit and Credit Cardholders can change your PIN by simply calling the number on the back of your new card.

New Card Numbers and Recurring Activity
All new cards will be issued new card numbers. Since the new cards will have new card numbers, you have to make arrangements with any recurring activity that currently uses your debit and/or credit card for transactions. Below you will find a helpful checklist that can assist in identifying the recurring activity.
